The month-long ‘Pramukh Swami Maharaj Centenary Festival’ is being hosted on a gigantic 600-acre site called ‘Pramukh Swami Maharaj Nagar’ in western Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The month-long ‘Pramukh Swami Maharaj Centenary Festival’ is being hosted on a gigantic 600-acre site called ‘Pramukh Swami Maharaj Nagar’ in western Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The site will be transformed into a cultural wonderland, with something for people of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy and learn. Visit to all attractions are free of cost.
Cultural Gates :
A total of seven large decorative gateways will welcome and guide visitors to the various zones of the festival campus. The main gate visible from the SP Ring Road is 380 feet long and 51 feet high.
Pramukh Swami Maharaj Maha-Murti :
The 30-feet high murti of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, perched on a 15-feet high pedestal, is encircled by 24 recesses, with each having extraordinary depictions of Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s great life and work.
Swaminarayan Akshardham, New Delhi – Replica :
Murtis of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and other Hindu deities will be enshrined in the 67-feet high massive replica of Swaminarayan Akshardham, New Delhi, allowing visitors to have darshan and offer prayers.
Glow Garden - Pramukh Jyoti Udyan :
This vast, enchanting garden will serve as a haven of natural beauty blossoming with inspirational teachings from around the world. Pramukh Swami Maharaj lit the lives of countless souls with the rays of faith and devotion.
Bal Nagari - Children’s Adventureland :
The Children’s Cultural Land or ‘Bal Nagari’, spread over 17 acres and consisting of 3 domes, will be managed by children and host fun exhibitions, educational shows and interactive games for children of all ages.
Light and Sound Show - Purna Purush :
People from around the world have titled Pramukh Swami Maharaj as Purna Purush. Experience a spectacular light and sound show that pays tribute to this quality of Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
Exhibition Pavilions :
Five immersive shows – ‘Sahajanand’, ‘Muktanand’, Nityanand’, ‘Bharatanand’ and ‘Paramanand’ – comprise of films and live performances themed on relevant topics taught and promoted by Pramukh Swami Maharaj, like anti-addiction, family harmony, pride for India and community service.
Swaminarayan Vishwashanti Mahayag :
Historic Swaminarayan Vishwashanti Yagna, in which couples can personally participate to offer prayers for their specific wishes, will take place multiple times every day.
